  3.                           WELCOME TO THE JBT TOOLS
  4.  
  5.      The  JBT Tools is a set of programs that are designed to increase
  6.      your productivity. The tools include:
  7.  
  8.                     A Dos Shell with ZIP Management
  9.                     An ASCII Text Editor
  10.                     An ASCII File Viewer
  11.                     A File Finder
  12.                     A Duplicate File Find/Delete Program
  13.                     A Multiple File Extension Deletion Program
  14.                     An Editor Designed for Batch Files
  15.      
  16.      The  JBT Tools comes with an installation  program,  INSTALL.EXE,
  17.      five   self extracting archive files,   JBT1.EXE thru   JBT5.EXE, 
  18.      and this file.
  19.      
  20.      To  install the programs insert the disk into a floppy drive  and
  21.      type   INSTALL.   The   installation  program  will  create   the
  22.      subdirectory \JBTT and install the programs on your hard disk.
  23.      
  24.      If   you  want  to  manually  install  the  program,   create   a
  25.      subdirectory  \JBTT  and execute the two self extracting  archive
  26.      programs.
  27.      
  28.      Once  the  program  files have been installed,  the  batch  file,
  29.      PRINTDOC.BAT  can  be used to print out the manuals.  I  strongly
  30.      suggest you take the time to print out the manuals.

  32.      I would like to thank two people for their help and support.  The
  33.      first if Patrick Easley who spent his time debugging the programs
  34.      and making positive suggestions.  The second person is the man of
  35.      many written words,  the co-author of a thousand books, Mr.  Nick
  36.      Anis.  He  has given me the incentive to improve my programs  and
  37.      written some nice reviews.
